Which BT broadband package is right for you?

BT is one of the leading providers in the UK of broadband packages, but choosing the right one for you can be a difficult process. BT offers six different packages, so there's plenty of choice, but how do you know which package is best for you?

Firstly, you need to think about what you're actually going to be doing online, as this will determine what sort of usage allowance and speed you need. If you rarely go online, or you only use the internet for a bit of daily browsing, shopping and checking emails, then you should be fine with a smaller usage allowance, and speed won't be a huge issue for you. This means you can go for a cheaper option and you won't end up paying for what you're not going to use.

However, if you're going to be doing more demanding tasks such as streaming movies, downloading music and gaming, you'll need a higher usage allowance, as this will allow you to download more and do more without having to pay extra charges or having your service capped. You'll also find that a higher speed is incredibly beneficial when you're performing demanding tasks. Particularly heavy users might find that BT Infinity is the way to go. BT Infinity offers a practically seamless connection with super fast speeds of up to 76Mb. Some BT Infinity packages include unlimited usage, making them ideal for people who are going to download a lot of content such as movies and music.

There are plenty of BT broadband and BT Infinity offers available to make the deal even sweeter. Most packages come with 3 months half price, and all BT broadband packages come with a free £25 Sainsbury's vouchers, whilst BT Infinity packages come with a free £50 voucher.
